Steve Richards, M.S. LPC

Steve has a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Evangel University and has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since June 2008. He is certified in the Prepare and Enrich assessment which can be used for couples about to get married and couples who have been married for any length of time. Steve is also trained in the area of personality and intelligence assessment and uses them to help get a more precise and accurate picture of the client during the initial phase of counseling. He believes that there is a right tool for every job and a counselor’s tool box should be full.

Steve is currently treating a wide variety of clients in his community, but specializes in marital and family counseling. He offers a Pre marital counseling package that includes the Enrich assessment and two follow up phone calls several months after the marriage. Steve’s goal is to get every couple, family or individual healthy, strong and skilled enough to take control of there lives and relationships so that they can successfully navigate the road of life.

Steve is currently practicing at Crescent Center in Lebanon Missouri, where he lives with his wife of 13 years and their three children. They decided to live here after Steve left a 12 ½ year military carrier so he could finish school and become a counselor. It is his hope that he can positively affect the community he lives in and its surrounding communities’ one family/person at a time
